There are very few hotels which leave you satisfied in every way be it the location, the services, the rates, the food, the courteous staff, the helping manager.
HOTEL WALISONS, Srinagar is right up there when it comes to these points.
The location is right beside the Dal Lake.....walking distance yet located in a calm place.
The rooms are clean and quite big.
The service is top class. The car rental, the food delivery, the cleaning....everything was taken care of and most importantly were always on time.
The rates were right on the money. Not too high.....Not too low. Just about Perfect.



The food was not only tasty but also ample enough for us to Order 3 plates and still fill 4 stomachs !
. The staff, especially one Mudassar were very good. Always smiling and no grumbling and ever ready to help

He is extremely experienced and highly helpful and knows about all the travel spots with details and goes out of the way to make your trip comfortable.

Located right next to the Domestic Airport, the SAHARA STAR  Hotel looks garish outside, but once inside, you are transported to an entirely different planet. The word "Amazing" is not enough to describe the place. The quietness, the soft music, the lightnings, the ambiance all simply conspire to soothe your soul after a Hard Day at Conference. The Buffet at the Earth Plate Restaurant  too is quite

good. The Masala Dosa tasted just like prepared at Home but sadly the spread is too thin, especially for an Hotel of this Class. 

The service is good though they could be a little more courteous. 

The Front Office (Reception) is  quite helpful.
